Financial options for your dream retirement.
Today’s seniors are enjoying longer, healthier lives pursuing their passions. But living a more active life means their savings have to go even further. That’s why having a smart plan for your future is more important than ever before. As you explore your retirement community choices and learn about the cost of senior living, you may wonder what the best option is for you and your money.
As a Life Plan Community, we offer an independent lifestyle with services and amenities you can enjoy. Plus, our Life Care contract will give you the peace of mind of knowing a full continuum of high-quality care is available at predictable monthly rates.
Entrance fee and monthly fees
To make Lake Seminole Square your future home, all that’s required is a one-time entrance fee and ongoing monthly fees. Here’s what each type of fee covers:
This fee is based on the type of contract and the size of residence you choose. The more square footage, the more your entrance fee. Your entrance fee covers your residence and gives you guaranteed access to any future care you may need at less than market rates.
Your monthly fee covers interior and exterior maintenance, property taxes, utilities, your dining plan, fitness membership, a beautifully maintained campus, and dozens of other services and amenities.
Whether you’re in independent living or assisted living, your living accommodations, services, and amenities will be customized to suit your personal lifestyle and changing needs. Plus, we offer contract options that refund a portion of your entrance fee to you or your heirs for true asset protection.
Flex Your Future
This program lets more seniors embrace the freedom of independent living by offering a flexible way to adjust their senior living costs in a way that fits their budget. If you want to customize your entrance fee, all you have to do is select your residence now with less out of pocket, then pay the remainder of that entrance fee over time.
Our Life Care contract offers a way to pay for long-term care expenses that makes them more predictable and protects you from constantly rising prices. According to the Department of Health and Human Services, 7 out of 10 adults will need long-term care at some point, for an average of 3 years. Considering those statistics, having Life Care can save you tens of thousands of dollars if you ever need long-term health care.

A lot of our residents use a part of the proceeds from the sale of their home to cover the cost of their independent living entrance fee. According to the IRS, some of both your entrance fee and monthly fee are tax-deductible as prepayment of medical expenses. To learn more, consult with your tax advisor.
